They are here! And they are fantastic!
I got a box of these at an auction a couple weeks ago. I was going to sell them, but know that I've photographed them, I've fallen in love. I'm thinking sculpture or maybe porch ornaments.
The gals from Quirky Works Studio traveled to Poplar Ridge the other day and we had a quick lunch of pumpkin soup, raisin bread toast and pears while we mulled over creative ideas for our businesses. Martha and Karen brought over a new batch of their wonderfully altered clothing, this time featuring more FLAX. You're gonna love these pieces.
An old DDG promo photo...I still love it! We are coming up on our 10th anniversary. Mind boggling.Last one...that is our awesome bunny hutch...Pippin has grown extra fur for just this kind of weather.
Maybe I'm getting carried away but these photos look good when moved over from Flickr.
I'm feeling pretty creative these days and thank goodness I've got a bit more time to work on projects. This chair is not mine, but it inspires me in several directions. Take a look at Wintercheck.com and see if it doesn't move you to think in ways you haven't thought before.

We went on a little family drive yesterday with our main destination being the Apple Station in Union Springs. The owners are old buddies of Ed's and they run a great place with fantastic apples, veggies, pumpkins, NY cheddar and homemade donuts. Yum! As we were driving home we noticed that Coppersque was open. I've never happened upon the store when it was open, so I was thrilled to finally go in and see what they had to offer. I was instantly smitten with the leather bags by Paulette Rollo of Maine. They only had a few items left in stock, but I managed to snag a small heart-shaped leather bag that is just charming. I need to get a good photo and I'll post in here soon. In the meantime, check out Copperesque, either in person or on their website.
