DDG @ Masonic Yard Sale in Auburn on August 6, 2016

The Auburn Masonic Lodge at 5933 South Street Road hosts a yard sale/flea market with a bunch of vendors and hamburgers/hot dogs/soda from 9-2 on Saturday, August 6, 2016. This is your chance to see Dinosaur Dry Goods on the road in a new location. We'll have the usual: vintage linens, boutique clothing featuring Flax, furnitures, collectibles, misc artsy stuff.
(photo disclaimer: that is our set up from a past flea market, but you get the idea)

Route 90 Garage Sale 2016

We will be open at the King Ferry Studio today - corner of Route 90 and Route 34B - for the Route 90 Garage Sale. Stop by and say hello! I'll be there from 9am-4pm. (And while you are in the neighborhood, don't forget the Hazard Library Book Sale at the Poplar Ridge Firehouse.)

DDG King Ferry Studio

The King Ferry studio/store space is starting to be known as "that place with the suitcases in the windows" and that it is! I can't manage regular open hours there, but I put out the open flag when I'm there as often as possible. I do have racks of $5 (3/$10) bargain clothing including Flax. Also in the mix are vintage clothes and accessories, gobs of vintage linens, collectible glassware and pottery, furniture in various states of repurposing, ephemera (including 1950s Farm Journals),  and plenty of etc. Look under the About tab above for info on reaching me about appointments and open hours.

Hike with Unexpected Treasures

We headed out yesterday to explore a gorge and waterfalls. We were pleasantly surprised by a rather exciting scrap metal pile. I need to return with a wagon.

Wild Red Head

Red-Bellied Woodpecker at the feeder this morning. I went a bit overboard with the photos, but with a digital camera, it doesn't really matter. This beauty had a brilliant head and stuck around the feeder for quite a while. And yes, the name is oddly Red-Bellied, even though it is actually the head that is red.
