Line-dried Flax waving behind my weedy garden a couple days ago. It's a great year for sunflowers! We may never have a ripe tomato. The garlic is strong and huge. Johnny's shipped the wrong zucchini seeds and I ended up with 8 Balls instead of Romanesca.

The Reserection Oil Cloth Bags are now at DDG! Also known as "The Bag Project," Jeanne Angelheart designed these colorful & immensely useful bags. DDG has 3 styles: the small bucket, the medium bucket and the medium tote. I've been testing these out for the last month or so and they are super-useful: book bag, grocery bag, CSA-share bag (great for wet veggies), carrying plants (totally washable), yoga towel & mat tote, laptop bag (my 10yr old invented this use), picnic bag, wet swimsuit bag, back-of-the-car bag (the one that holds umbrellas, extra jackets, grocery bags, driftwood, rocks, etc). I'll have them up on the website soon...individually and as a set.

A friend of mine makes these wonderful colorful ceramic switchplates. I help him out by listing them on etsy.com and shipping out the sales.

It has been stormy here this week. I've been playing more than I've been working. Time to buckle down and get something done.
