Duck Crossing
This Cayuga Duck was determined to cross the busy road. He wasn't terribly cooperative. If he had inched forward a bit, the photo composition would have been perfect. It took several people several tries to get him herded back down to the lake. At the time, he was being identified as a Black Duck. Good think I checked before I posted. He is actually a breed of domesticated duck developed in the area in the 1800s. No wonder he didn't want to go back to the lake. He probably had a cozy coop somewhere in the neighborhood.
